Bio on CBD
CBD is just one of more than 100 identified and isolated cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant. While cannabis has been used therapeutically for centuries, it’s only been over the past decade that CBD has really gained notoriety and popularity. Now, it’s well on its way to becoming a common household item kept on hand for daily dosing, reducing stress & anxiety, for insomnia, and for myriad other therapeutic uses.
Here are some facts about CBD that make it easy to see why it’s only continued to rise in popularity:
→ CBD is completely non-psychoactive, so you won’t get ‘high’ or ‘stoned’ from it
→ CBD is not addictive, has minimal side effects, and can be safely administered to children, adults, and animals
→ Among myriad other therapeutic uses, CBD can also effectively be used to treat schizophrenia, PTSD, epilepsy and other seizure disorders, depression, anxiety, numerous types of cancer, bone diseases and disorders, nausea, lack of appetite, lupus, OCD, Parkinson’s disease, inflammation, acute and chronic pain, diabetes, insomnia, and Alzheimer’s.
I use CBD for my diagnosed mental health disorders and conditions, including severe PTSD, anxiety, and depression, that I have had for my entire life. Events over the years exacerbated existing issues and created new ones. At the end of 2017, I started using CBD off and on in conjunction with my other medications and THC. It made a difference, but the medications still made it hard to really feel anything.
In June of 2018, I started using CBD therapy to successfully deal with an abrupt cessation of my meds, and to stay out of the hospital as a result. It’s August as I write this, and I’ve not been using any pharmaceuticals since - - just CBD and THC.
I’m eager to share what I’ve learned along the way! I will be using the “Bud Bio: CBD” umbrella to gather the product reviews (both sponsored and non), in-depth articles, and other information about CBD.

The Resonance Farm CBD Rich oil immediately became a personal staple for me, and is the one I use every day. Produced from CBD oil processed via CO2 extraction, the oil is light and doesn’t coat your mouth in an oily film like some CBD oil products I’ve used.
It also doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste at all. In fact, this is the only CBD oil I don’t need to chase with water after taking it sublingually. The Resonance Farm CBD Rich oil also makes a great addition to my morning coffee and afternoon iced teas.
